REFRIGERANT R513A (OPTEON XP10) - REPLACEMENT R134A

The refrigerant R513A (Opteon XP10) is a very commonly used product that can be found in installations of various types. It is a pressurised liquefied gas that is used in medium and high-pressure systems. It can be found in new installations and as a replacement for R134A refrigerant in older systems - it has very similar performance to it. Opteon XP10 is a common solution primarily in air conditioning and commercial refrigeration systems.

The R513A refrigerant is a specially developed azeotropic mixture, which guarantees zero temperature slippage. The product also has a low GWP of - 573. It is therefore reduced by 56% compared to R134A, for which it is a replacement. Consequently, the coolant is much more environmentally friendly than its older counterpart. Opteon XP10 is safe to use for both the user and the equipment. In addition, the mixture is non-flammable (flammability class A1), which is also a major advantage of the product.
