REFRIGERANT R507

Refrigerant R507 is a pressurised liquefied gas. The refrigerant has found a wide range of applications in many fields. It can freely be said that it is one of the most popular preparations of its type, often chosen by customers. It is distinguished by its versatility, as it is suitable for low-, medium- and high-temperature equipment. R507 is most commonly found in industrial refrigeration. The refrigerant R507 is an azeotropic mixture with a chemical composition of: 50% R125 and 50% R143A. This is another advantage, as thanks to its structure it can be successfully used in centrifugal compressors and flooded evaporators.

R507 is also sometimes used as a replacement for R502 or R22 coolants. This is permissible, but requires the use of a different grade of oil, as well as the appropriate replacement of components included in the modified system. Caution is therefore advised. The product is non-flammable and also non-explosive.
